Gun Violence—each shirt represents one person lost to gun violence this year in Southern New Jersey. This display will remain until mid January 2017 at Newton Friends Meeting to give a presence to the need for greater gun control in our country and an awareness of the loss of life due to guns in our society. Peace can not be achieved without first considering the toll guns take on all people no matter their age. It is the hope of the Meeting and the Heeding God’s Call organization that we can work towards a more peaceful United States free of guns.
