John Dear is an international speaker and peace activist, and author of over 20 books. In his latest he examines the connection between violence and our treatment of Mother Earth. We have been blind to this connection, but he writes “We need not be blind any longer.” We can reclaim “a vision of peace for ourselves, Mother Earth, and her creatures.”
