We are happy to announce that Newton received 2 grants supporting the restoration of the Meetinghouse. One is from the New Jersey Historic Trust to develop a preservation plan to restore the building. The other is from the D’Olier Foundation out of Moorestown Meeting to provide matching funds for a construction grant to be written in 2022.
Last year we received a grant from the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting to stabilize the building, which was the beginning of our goal to establish a Capital Fund to fully refurbish our historic building.
