The Virtua Food Farmacy Program
Food is medicine.
Big Ideas, Real Impact.
The Virtua Food Farmacy Program is a comprehensive outpatient nutrition program that provides Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients experiencing food insecurity while managing diet related, chronic, conditions. The Farmacy serves Virtua patients who are experiencing food insecurity and are managing one or more diet related chronic conditions.
The Newton Friends are proud to announce that we are using our food garden to partner with Virtua in their efforts.
We donated over 20lbs of tomatoes kale peppers and herbs. Everything was organically and mindfully grown.
